I don’t personally enjoy coffee,
but watching someone create beautiful latte art in my cup
feels like a truly genuine moment.

Finished with layered glazes, it has a subtle sepia tone that can’t be defined by just one color.
On a soft base warmed by gentle sunlight, natural pink speckles create a unique, delicate color.

The early posts without explanation were made using colored slip on porcelain clay. Colored slip is clay mixed with pigment in liquid form. When brushed on, the brushstrokes stay visibly distinct and leave clear marks, like brushing on soft clay. A

A pinch of salt for egg,
A dash of soy sauce for sushi,
A warm cup of tea to end the day.
Small in size, holds just the right amount.

The straight sides and clean foot reflect the simple design I always try to achieve. The clear divide between the

I had never used colored glazes before.
Mostly because of personal preference — I love drawing on clay and didn’t want to cover up the lines with color.
